MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA

The
membership of the League consists of
Active and
Associate Members, which
may include International
Affiliates,
Members-at-Large, and
Honorary Members engaged in original creative work of
professional standard under one or more of the following
classifications:
Art,
Letters and
Music.

To be
eligible for Active Membership,
a prospective member must be a citizen of the United States and
meet all the requirements of the classification.
Associate Membership
may be acquired by a woman meeting all the qualifications
required for Active Membership except that payment for work need
not have been received.
International Affiliate Membership
may be acquired by a woman meeting all the requirements for
Active or Associate Membership with the exception that she is
not a citizen of the United States.
Membership-at-Large
is granted only to a Branch member who meets qualifications for
membership and who:
Honorary Membership
may be conferred provided that the individual is eligible for
Active Membership in the League. National Honorary Membership
may be conferred by the National Executive Board upon
recommendation by its members or a branch. Members of the League
are not eligible for National Honorary Membership. Branch
Honorary Membership may be conferred on an Active Member of the
League only by the Branch to which she belongs.

women who express ourselves through
one or more of the three creatives:
Music,
Art and Letters.
Our
Creative Expression Is more
than a pastime;
It is a
profession for which we have
been monetarily recognized.
